Pleasanton is a perfect 10-0 against Poteet since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Pleasanton Eagles will face off against the Poteet Aggies at 5:00 p.m. Poteet took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Pleasanton, who comes in off a win.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Pleasanton faced off against Hondo on Friday. Pleasanton never let Hondo get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Poteet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to Uvalde. That's two games in a row now that the Aggies have lost by exactly five goals.

Pleasanton's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those six matchups. As for Poteet, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-17-1.

Everything went Pleasanton's way against Poteet when the teams last played back in February, as Pleasanton made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pleasanton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
