Softball Game Preview: Tippecanoe Red Devils vs. Belmont Bison

The Tippecanoe Red Devils will take on the Belmont Bison in a tournament on Thursday. Tippecanoe's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Belmont's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

While Tippecanoe's win against Stebbins wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils won by a run and slipped past the Indians 9-8. The Red Devils haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Belmont fell victim to National Trail and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 12-0 to the Blazers. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Belmont's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Tippecanoe, their win bumped their record up to 19-6.
