Bronx Leadership Academy had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.9 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Law Government & Justice Tigers as they made off with an 89-66 win. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd in New York, while the Tigers are ranked 528th in New York), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bronx Leadership Academy's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points over those games. As for Law Government & Justice, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
