Soccer Game Preview: Norview vs. Indian River

The Norview Pilots will challenge the Indian River Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Norview's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Norview turned things around against Green Run on Friday. They and the Stallions finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Norview's first draw of the season.

Meanwhile, Indian River fell victim to Great Bridge and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Indian River can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Great Bridge are ranked 81st).

Norview's draw makes their record 3-8-1 this season. As for Indian River, they now have a losing record of 7-8-1.
