Volleyball Recap: Avon Finds Playoff Glory Versus Kimball/White Lake

It's playoff time, and Avon had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Kimball/White Lake Wildkats on Tuesday. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jordyn Voigt had a dynamite game, getting 26 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September.

Avon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kimball/White Lake only served seven.

Avon is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-12 record this season. As for Kimball/White Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-22.

Avon has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Corsica/Stickney on the 6th. Kimball/White Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
