Basketball Recap: Lakeside Falls Despite Big Games from Kaitlyn Herskowitz and Kaylee Otte

Lakeside lost against Stockton back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lakeside Knights fell 48-35 to the Stockton Tigers.

Lakeside's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kaylee Otte, who posted 14 points and six rebounds, and Kaitlyn Herskowitz, who had four points and five rebounds. Those 14 points gave Otte a new career-high.

Lakeside dropped their record down to 1-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Stockton, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lakeside will square off against Rock Hills on Friday. As for Stockton, they will face off against Thunder Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
