Soccer Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Northern Durham Knights, falling 4-1. One thing that didn't help Cedar Ridge's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Alex Bettger.

Cedar Ridge's goal came courtesy of Niko James, which was the first he's scored this season.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northern Durham, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Cedar Ridge is taking a road trip to take on Southern Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Cedar Ridge are facing Southern Alamance at the right time seeing as Southern Alamance are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Northern Durham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Alamance at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
