Basketball Recap: Lake Quinault Takes a Loss

Lake Quinault lost against North Beach back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lake Quinault Elks had to suffer through a 63-18 loss at the hands of the North Beach Hyaks.

North Beach's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from JJ Eastman, who went 10 for 20 on his way to 20 points and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sonny Terrel, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 16 points and four steals.

Lake Quinault's loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Beach, their record now sits at 2-5.

Lake Quinault didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-20 defeat against Crescent on the 27th. As for North Beach, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-38 loss against Willapa Valley on the 27th.
