Baseball Recap: Mcmahon Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for McMahon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the St. Joseph Cadets on Monday by a score of 4-1 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Senators also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

McMahon's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-8. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for St. Joseph, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-8 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McMahon will face off against Wilton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Joseph, they will welcome New Canaan at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Cadets surely won't give up without a fight.
