Volleyball Recap: Ashland Has No Trouble Against Grafton

Ashland won the last time they faced Grafton and things went their way on Friday too. The Clockers blew past the Gators 3-0.

While Ashland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-22.

Nicole Chin paced Ashland's offense, picking up nine kills. Chin got some help from Isabelle Lai and her nine assists. Chin also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rose Berliner, racking up four apiece.

Ashland now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Grafton, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Ashland will host Shrewsbury at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Grafton, they will venture away from home to face off against Whitinsville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
