Football Recap: Fullington Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fullington Academy had lost three straight at home, but on Thursday they dropped down to 4-6 to make it four. They took a blow against the Vidalia Heritage Academy Eagles, falling 58-20. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-12.

When it comes to explaining why Fullington Academy lost, don't look at Aidan Hill. Despite the final result, he rushed for 116 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 35 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Blake Hendrickson, who rushed for 49 yards and one score.

As for Vidalia Heritage Academy, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points over those games.

Vidalia Heritage Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Trevor White, who rushed for 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 119 receiving yards and two TDs. That's the most rushing yards White has posted since back in October of 2024. Jake Adams was another key player, throwing for 377 yards and four TDs on only 18 passes.

Coming up, Fullington Academy will challenge Citizens Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vidalia Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
