Football Game Preview: Winder-Barrow vs. Apalachee

Apalachee have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on Winder-Barrow at home at 7:30 PM on Friday. Apalachee will be strutting in after a win while Winder-Barrow will be stumbling in from a loss.

The crowd came for a game two weeks ago, and Apalachee and Walnut Grove sure delivered. It was a match that couldn't have wound up any closer, but Apalachee snuck past Walnut Grove for the 14-13 victory. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 45 points the game before, Winder-Barrow faltered in their game last Friday. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-27 defeat to Oconee County last Friday. Winder-Barrow were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.
