Baseball Recap: Somonauk Comes Up Short

Somonauk lost against Hall back in April of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bobcats fell 6-2 to the Red Devils. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Somonauk's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hall, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season.

Somonauk will challenge Newark at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Norsemen have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Hall, they will face off against Kewanee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
