It was a good run, but Cypress Falls unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Jersey Village Falcons by a score of 5-4. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Braylon Austin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Bryce Austin, who went 1-for-4 with one home run.

Cypress Falls now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Jersey Village, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cypress Falls will head out to square off against Stratford at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jersey Village, they will venture away from home to face off against Cypress Park at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Falcons are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
