Recap: Los Alamos Hilltoppers vs. Moriarty Pintos
The Los Alamos Hilltoppers won the last time they faced the Moriarty Pintos, and things went their way on Thursday too. Los Alamos took down Moriarty 52-35.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Alamos to victory, but perhaps none more so than GG Romero, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Sofia Trujillo, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Los Alamos has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Moriarty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Alamos will square off against St. Pius X at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Moriarty, they will head out on the road to take on Espanola Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
