Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Falls to Republic in First Game of Season

Forsyth unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Republic Tigers on Saturday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Forsyth was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 20 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20.

Looking ahead, Forsyth will be playing in front of their home fans against Marshfield at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Republic, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Fair Grove on the 30th.
