Softball Game Preview: Manchester Essex Hornets vs. Hamilton-Wenham Regional Generals

Manchester Essex and Hamilton-Wenham Regional are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Hornets will head out on the road to challenge the Generals at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Manchester Essex sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Boston Latin Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Meanwhile, Hamilton-Wenham Regional had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against Winthrop as they made off with a 19-8 victory. The win continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.
