Basketball Game Preview: Gateway Gators vs. Greater Latrobe Wildcats

Gateway is preparing for their first conference matchup of the season on Thursday. They will challenge the Greater Latrobe Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Gateway is leaving town to face Greater Latrobe after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Gators took a hard 68-50 fall against York Suburban last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Greater Latrobe was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 63-59 to Mars. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gateway couldn't quite get it done against Greater Latrobe in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 66-56. Can the Gators avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
