Mountain View entered their tilt with Forest City on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They walked away with an 8-3 win over the Foresters. Eight seems to be a good number for the Eagles as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jordan Jagger was excellent, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Another player making a difference was Ziggy Bradford, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Mountain View's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Forest City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Mountain View will challenge rival Susquehanna at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Forest City is set to take on their familiar foe Carbondale Area at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
