            It may have taken  overtime to finish the job, but Williamson ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They walked away with  a   22-14  win over the Vigor Wolves. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the   19-2 victory the Wolves walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in October of 2024.
The critical scores for Williamson came from  Todrick Withers,  Jamarcus Lett,  and  Jaylen Scott.

 Williamson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Reginald Ward and  Scott. Scott is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made six or more in each of the last 20 games he's  played dating back to last season. Another thorn in Vigor's side was  Ellis McGaskin, who picked up  0.5  sacks and made 14 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
The  win keeps Williamson at an undefeated 8-0. The  victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 53.4 points this season. As for Vigor, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 7-1.
