Basketball Recap: Lake Mary Prep Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Mary Prep can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors and fell 68-32. The Griffins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-18.

Orlando Christian Prep's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Esaie Cenescar, who went 5 of 6 on his way to 10 points and five rebounds. Those ten points gave Cenescar a new career-high. Eric Noblin was another key player, going 5 for 9 en route to 13 points.

Lake Mary Prep's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Orlando Christian Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 9-14.
