Basketball Recap: Sundance Wins Going Away Against Harding County

On Tuesday, the Sundance Bulldogs didn't have too much trouble with the Harding County Ranchers as they won 59-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why Harding County lost, don't look at Cohen Smith. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points. Another player making a difference was Evan Meyer, who posted four points and five steals.

Sundance pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Harding County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sundance will welcome Newcastle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sundance is facing Newcastle at the right time seeing as Newcastle is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Harding County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Philip at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
