Baseball Recap: High Tech NC's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

High Tech NC lost against Rock Academy back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. High Tech NC took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rock Academy. The game marked the Raptor's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

High Tech NC saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Larkins, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Armando Dominguez was another, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Having lost for the first time this season, High Tech NC fell to 5-1. As for Rock Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

High Tech NC will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Chula Vista Learning Community Charter at 3:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Rock Academy, they will face off against El Cajon Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Rock Academy is facing El Cajon Valley at the right time seeing as El Cajon Valley is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
