Soccer Game Preview: Orange County vs. Charlottesville

The Orange County Fighting Hornets are taking a road trip to challenge the Charlottesville Black Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Orange County has three straight wins, Charlottesville has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Orange County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Monticello 3-0. Orange County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

Taylor Mills and Somer Wolfrey scored all three of Orange County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Charlottesville came up short against Western Albemarle on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Charlottesville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Orange County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1.
