Volleyball Recap: Mt. Whitney Comes Up Short

Mt. Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Roosevelt Rough Riders.

Mt. Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Roosevelt, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Mt. Whitney will face off against Redwood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Roosevelt, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Coalinga on the 1st.
