Baseball Recap: Lodi Triumphs

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Lodi brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They came out on top against the Lincoln Trojans by a score of 13-8 on Monday. The Flames haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Jax Bennett was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Dalton Waites was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

Lodi was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .432. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Lodi's record now sits at 14-7. As for Lincoln, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-9.

Lodi will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
