Softball Recap: San Marcos Comes Up Short

San Marcos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Clemens Buffaloes, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buffaloes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 back in February.

San Marcos' record is now 9-13-2. As for Clemens, their record is now 15-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. San Marcos will challenge rival East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clemens is set to face off against their familiar foe Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Clemens 3.1, Canyon 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
