Softball Recap: Bartlett Takes a Loss

Oxford hit Bartlett with a five-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Indians came up short against the Pirates, falling 12-0. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Bartlett's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Oxford, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bartlett will challenge Montachusett RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oxford, they will square off against Douglas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
