Springboro has gone 8-2 against Wayne recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Springboro Panthers will take on the Wayne Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Springboro will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

On Saturday, Springboro strolled past Olmsted Falls with points to spare, taking the game 52-35.

Meanwhile, Wayne made easy work of Miamisburg on Wednesday and carried off a 54-33 win. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

Wayne's win came from a few key players Springboro will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Nariya Goddard, who posted six points along with six assists and five steals. Wayne is 5-1 when Goddard posts five or more steals, but 7-9 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dezirae Thomas, who went 5-for-11 on her way to 15 points.

Wayne smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Springboro's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.6 points over those games. As for Wayne, their victory bumped their record up to 12-10.

Springboro was able to grind out a solid win over Wayne in their previous matchup last Wednesday, winning 73-65. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springboro since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
