Basketball Recap: Hozho Academy Comes Up Short

Hozho Academy and Mesa Vista squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hozho Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 80-56. The Wolves have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Hozho Academy's loss dropped their record down to 19-11. As for Mesa Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season.

Hozho Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mesa Vista, they will challenge Rehoboth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
