Kewanee came tearing into Saturday's contest with four straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They snuck past the Riverdale Rams with a 51-47 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Boilermakers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 401st, while the Rams are ranked 122nd).

Kewanee's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Riverdale, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.

Kewanee and Morrison will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Riverdale, they will challenge Fulton at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
