Basketball Recap: Lanesville Takes a Loss

Lanesville lost against South Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lanesville Eagles were dealt a 72-45 loss at the hands of the South Central Rebels.

Lanesville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nolin Pearce, who posted ten points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolyn Hall, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 12 points.

Lanesville's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for South Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Looking ahead, Lanesville will host New Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lanesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season. As for South Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Cannelton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
