After a string of three wins, Mexico's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 66-55 to the Principia Panthers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Panthers are ranked ninth).

Mexico's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Principia, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.

Mexico has already played their next matchup, a 79-59 victory against Rockwood Summit on the 28th. As for Principia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-50 win against Rolla on the 28th.
