Basketball Recap: Stuyvesant Finds Home Court Redemption Against Beacon

There's no place like home for Stuyvesant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 46-36 victory over the Beacon Blue Demons on Saturday. For the Peglegs, this counts as revenge for the 50-41 win the Blue Demons walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2019.

Stuyvesant's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. As for Beacon, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Stuyvesant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 85-30 defeat against New Dorp on the 6th. As for Beacon, they will host Health Profession at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
