Peaster came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Tolar Rattlers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 14-6 last Tuesday.

Peaster pushed their record up to 11-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tolar, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peaster will square off against Comanche at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tolar, they will take on Early at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
