Soccer Recap: Arvada West Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Arvada West finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valor Christian Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Arvada West of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Arvada West's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Valor Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1-1.

Arvada West has already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Columbine on the 14th. As for Valor Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Lakewood on the 14th.
