Softball Recap: Mount Tabor Comes Up Short

Mount Tabor lost against Davie back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Mount Tabor lost 17-2 to Davie. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mia Tarpley-Quintanilla was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Mount Tabor's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Davie, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mount Tabor will venture away from home to face off against Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mount Tabor's pitchers better be ready for this one: Glenn has averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. As for Davie, they will head out on the road to challenge West Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Forsyth will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Davie surely won't give up without a fight.
