Football Game Preview: St. Stephens Indians vs. Watauga Pioneers + Official Tickets

St. Stephens is 1-6 against Watauga since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Indians will square off against the Pioneers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

St. Stephens is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 24-23 victory over Mount Tabor.

Meanwhile, Watauga strolled into their game two weeks ago with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 28-18 win over St. Stephens. The Pioneers' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

St. Stephens better focus on containing Cade Keller and Everett Gryder as the pair were huge in Watauga's win. Keller threw for 193 yards and two TDs, while Gryder gained 96 total yards and two touchdowns.
