Volleyball Recap: Conemaugh Valley Triumphs

Conemaugh Valley picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Glendale Vikings 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Jays.

Abbigail Savering paced Conemaugh Valley's offense, picking up three kills. Savering got some help from Kendra Dietz and her eight assists. Savering also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Hayden Kelley, each putting up two.

Conemaugh Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Glendale, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10-1.

Conemaugh Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-0 loss against Washington on the 27th. As for Glendale, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Juniata Valley on the 29th.
