After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chagrin Falls, Kirtland was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Waterloo Vikings get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for Kirtland, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Waterloo from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Eli Johnson led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Kirtland's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 8-6-3. As for Waterloo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-1 record this season.

Kirtland will be playing in front of their home fans against Wellington at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Waterloo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
