Parsons has gone 9-1 against Field Kindley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to challenge the Golden Tornado at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Parsons came up short against Chanute and fell 9-6.

Jason Shaw made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those hits marked the first that he has got this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Talan Robertson, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Field Kindley might've scored the first runs on Wednesday, but it was Pittsburg who claimed the real prize. The Golden Tornado fell 8-4 to the Dragons.

Field Kindley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haydn Main, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Parsons' loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Field Kindley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Field Kindley's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Parsons has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Field Kindley, though, as they've been averaging only 4 strikeouts. Will Parsons keep running through batters, or will the Golden Tornado buck the trend?

Parsons was able to grind out a solid win over Field Kindley in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, winning 9-5. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Tornado turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
