Basketball Recap: Midwest Comes Up Short

Midwest had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were beaten by the Riverside Rebels 68-13 on Friday. The Oilers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it nine in a row dating back to last season.

The win made it two in a row for Riverside and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Midwest didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 51-25 loss against Niobrara County on the 13th. Riverside will take on Shoshoni in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on December 21st.
