Soccer Recap: New Albany's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If New Albany was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Bedford North Lawrence on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs lost 5-0 to the Columbus North Bull Dogs on Tuesday. New Albany were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three games prior), but Columbus North's defense proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, New Albany fell to 3-1. As for Columbus North, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Looking ahead, New Albany will challenge Switzerland County at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Columbus North, they have already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Roncalli on the 4th.
