East Lincoln kept a clean sheet against West Iredell on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 5-0 margin over the Warriors. East Lincoln might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

They hit West Iredell with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Piper Rasmussen (2), Sophia Espinosa-Benton, Sadie Badgett, and Alina Strauss.

The win made it two in a row for East Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 16-1-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for West Iredell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

East Lincoln didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Statesville on the 28th. As for West Iredell, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against St. Stephens on the 28th.
