Jones County was the 2-1 winner over Mary Persons when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Greyhounds fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Thursday. The Greyhounds' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Jones County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Mary Persons work for it, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-15.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 16-15. As for Mary Persons, they pushed their record up to 26-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home.
