Watervliet extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Sophia Rogers. The Cannoneers put the hurt on the Chatham Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday with plenty of help from Rogers, who had five aces and four digs. Rogers is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

While Watervliet won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-13.

Watervliet's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Chatham, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Watervliet has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Maple Hill on the 16th. Chatham has also already played their next matchup (against Canajoharie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
