Softball Preview: South Spartans vs. El Segundo Eagles
The South Spartans will head out on the road to challenge the El Segundo Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. South is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
Last Friday, South came up short against West and fell 7-3.
South saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea Daley, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, El Segundo's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of West by a score of 2-1. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for El Segundo in their matchups with West: they've now lost six in a row.
