Basketball Recap: Tri-County North Comes Up Short

Tri-County North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 68-54 fall against the Dixie Greyhounds. The Panthers lost against the Greyhounds in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 64-29 score last time.

Tri-County North's record now sits at 4-9. As for Dixie, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Tri-County North will take on Newton Local at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Newton Local will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Tri-County North surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dixie, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-64 defeat against Valley View on the 18th.
