Basketball Game Preview: Blessed Trinity Titans vs. Centennial Knights

The Blessed Trinity Titans will square off against the Centennial Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Blessed Trinity has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

Blessed Trinity is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Westminster on Wednesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Blessed Trinity lost 66-44 to Westminster. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Wildcats are ranked 136th).

Meanwhile, Centennial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 70-64 to Kell. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Longhorns recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Centennial's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8. As for Blessed Trinity, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
