Volleyball Recap: Memphis Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Memphis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fort Elliott Cougars, falling 3-0. If the Cyclones were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-6, 25-11.

Memphis' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Fort Elliott, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Memphis will square off against Highland Park at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Elliott, they will challenge Childress at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
